As Ive heard from many tattoo artists aound the world. Some tend to avoid many Tattoo World type sites as much of what is going on has become for many just an opportunity for slamming and ridicule of other artists. Its the intention of this site to provide a place for Artists to network, collaborate, and grow together in hopes of raising the overall standards of the profession of Tattooing around the world. It hasnt been that long since we were socially stigmatized in a big way and all looked at generally by the public like riff raff . Not to mention the world art community at large didnt even consider us as legitimate artists at all. Now we're finally mainstream and there aint no turning back. So lets keep it all on a good footing, and if there is any criticism here among artists let it be constructive and not condemning. It has always been my belief and contention that the service we provide to people, as the ancients believed, take every person through a sacred rite of passage whether they understand , realize it or not. Dosnt matter what the hell we put on them, they are changed for life afterwards. For good or ill is up to them and none of our business except where the quality of the work executed on them goes. We are quite responsible in that respect. We are just the instrument of change. And the money aint too shabby either. So lets present ourselves here with class and dignity befitting the honorable craft and traditions we come from and continue to use to enable us unfettered creativity, and allows us to be ourselves in a world mostly dictated by automaton and herd mentality ( but that is changing slowly ), and interact with some really cool folks.
